Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the The Retire Early Company website at theretireearlycompany.com, its FIRE calculators, FIRE Lab tools, articles and expert consultations (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Flux Wealth Ventures Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400066, India(“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. By creating an account or booking a consultation, you confirm that this is true.

The Services help you understand financial independence. They include calculators that project a FIRE number, Freedom Age and related figures, educational articles and illustrative stories, and one-to-one calls with our team.

Every projection is an estimate based on the assumptions you enter or choose, such as returns, inflation, expenses and withdrawal rates. Real markets, prices, taxes and personal circumstances differ, so actual outcomes will differ. Projections are not promises or guarantees of any return. How we calculate is set out on our Methodology page.

Content and tools on the Services are for education and general information only. They do not constitute investment, financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, a research report, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or financial product.

We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. Our consultations explain concepts and help you understand your own numbers; they do not recommend specific securities or products. Before making investment decisions, consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make, including any made after using the Services.

• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep your phone and OTPs secure and do not share them.
• Give accurate information, and keep your profile up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@theretireearlycompany.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, are used fraudulently, or where required by law.

• You can request a paid call with a financial expert or a free general query. The fee for a paid call is shown before you pay.
• Your preferred date and time is a request. We confirm the slot by email or phone, and may offer an alternative if it isn't available.
• If you add your FIRE summary or a message, it is shared with the expert to prepare for your call.
• Calls are educational. The expert's views depend on the information you give and are not a guarantee of any outcome.
• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the confirmed slot. Refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

• Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Your payment is subject to Razorpay's terms and your bank's terms in addition to these Terms.
• If a payment fails but money is debited, it is usually reversed automatically by your bank. If not, contact us with the transaction details.

You agree not to:

• use the Services for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent;
• access another person's account, or try to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• copy, scrape, resell or commercially exploit the Services or their content without our written permission;
• upload anything harmful, such as malware, or interfere with the security or performance of the Services;
• impersonate anyone, or provide false information when booking or paying.

The Services, including text, articles, calculators, designs, logos and the The Retire Early Company name, belong to Flux Wealth Ventures Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own results, such as your FIRE share card. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

The Services rely on third parties such as payment gateways and may link to other websites, including sharing to WhatsApp, Instagram or LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

We work to keep the Services accurate and available, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure, assumption or content is complete, current or suitable for your circumstances.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any investment loss, loss of profit, or decision you make based on the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify Flux Wealth Ventures Private Limited against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. Subject to that, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
